Camryn Johnson graduated in May 2023 from an undergraduate dual degree program at the University of Connecticut (Go Huskies!), receiving an honors degree in English and creative writing with a minor in sociology, and a degree in American Sign Language and Deaf Cultural Studies. While at university she served as the Managing Editor and fiction reader of The Long River Review, UConn’s undergraduate literary and arts magazine.

‍After a brief stint at Oxford University Press, Camryn Joined the S&S Associate Program in January 2024, beginning as a marketing associate at Scribner Books, and is now with Saga Press as of September 2024. At the helm of her reading interests is grounded speculative fiction, horror, and surrealism with an emphasis on deft prose and well-crafted social commentary, as well as immersive, sometimes cozy, fantasy and soft science fiction. Camryn hails from and still resides in the State of Connecticut.
